Nature of the Service

Barry County Released Inmates is a private reference resource. No part of it is operated by a court, sheriff, jail, parole office, corrections department, federal agency, or immigration authority. The site does not hold official booking, release, court, supervision, or custody records. It cannot confirm that a person is currently held, direct a facility to release anyone, change a record, submit a public-record request for a visitor, or file papers with an agency or court.

Its content points readers toward resources maintained by the Barry County Sheriff and Jail, Michigan courts, the Michigan Department of Corrections and its parole and probation operations, and the relevant federal or immigration systems. Some search functions may connect visitors with outside research providers. Those references are offered to help locate possible sources, not to replace confirmation from the office that created or maintains the record.

Acceptable Use Rules

By using the site, you agree not to rely on its content or search results for:

Limits on Liability

This obligation includes reasonable attorney fees and legal costs to the extent permitted by law.

Ownership of Site Materials

The original text, graphics, logos, design elements, and code used by Barry County Released Inmates belong to the site or its content partners and are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Government records and third-party materials remain subject to their own ownership and use rules. You may not reproduce, distribute, republish, sell, adapt, modify, or create derivative works from protected site materials without prior written permission from the applicable rights holder.

Revisions to These Terms

Michigan Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to rules that would select another jurisdiction’s law. Any dispute relating to the site or these terms must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction located in Michigan, unless applicable law requires a different forum.

Severability of Terms

If a court with authority finds any provision of these terms invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or adjusted only as much as needed to make it enforceable. If adjustment is not possible, the affected provision will be severed. Every other provision will remain in force.
